I think we have 14 Trillion+ reason why playing the moderate middle with the extreme progressives in both parties hasn’t worked worth a crap since the 30’s. As for subsidies they ALL need to go away slowly but surely so we can get back to a true free market not this crony capitalism junk that picks winners and losers with both progressive parties at the helm. How many ways does history have to prove that redistributing the wealth doesn’t work? Just look at the absolute perfect example in our current extremely screwed up world of redistributed wealth that we the tax payers paid for with what fraction of a free market system still exits in America. We need a flat rate tax system that will spring this economy into a prosperous money making country that hasn’t been seen since the roaring 20’s. In the 20’s Coolidge cut taxes and got out of the way so the economy can do its thing while during the Great Depression the progressives worked on trying to fix the economy just like the current progressives are trying to do now :( There is a reason that the rest of the world didn’t call their depression a Great Depression like we did. They didn’t have the government trying to help prolong it by spending, taxing, and regulating their way to prosperity :(
As long has the Palestinians are in bed with Hamas/Iran (who wants to destroy Israel and kill every Jew) I don’t think anyone should be stupid enough to try and negotiate with someone like that. The reason Israel kept that territory was because the Palestinians and the Arabs continually used it as a staging point to launch their attacks against them. Israel was surrounded every single time, and it happened in ’48, it happened in ’56, ’73, ’81. They got tired of it. So they kept the land this time so that it would never be used again as astaging area against them. Israel gave back at least half if not more of the land that they won in one of thewars and yet they are treated as keeping all of the land. Israel is so terrible that the huge Muslim population that lives in Israel loves living in the only true free Democratic country in the Middle East. Freedom of speech and religion is just the stability they want that can't be found anywhere else in the rest of the crewed up Middle East. The rest of the Middle East is a hell hole that doesn’t know what human rights are. Lucky for us spoiled brats we weren't born into that hell whole!!
unfortuneatly, the TPP won't be perceived as a national power as long as they try to speak for the GOP conservative base-- they are throwing you under the bus (see Medicare, repealing Bush tax cuts, etc) and the insane backing of gas/oil rebates. Be serious, if you want to cut spending it begins with what you don't want to face-- big oil, commodities trading, wall street, and millionaires and billionaires!. 70% of TPP want to repeal the tax cuts for millionairs and billionaires! Listen to your own people, and quit towing the GOP line of BS!
John, think about it-- review the film...
'Obama said "the 67 borders less land swaps" when Netenyahu addressed congress he said "original borders, less accepted exchanges"-- they adbvocated the same damn thing! Obama didn't say anything different than the previous 5 administrations regarding the borders LESS LAND SWAPS, which allow Isreal to setle i land it has taken, less land it as given to the Palestinines! Why the GOP wants to muddy the water, instead of support the olicy of both Bushes, Reagan and Nixon is beyond me. Your peeps need a history lesson-- US policy for the last four decades have been based on the 67 border (six day war, remember?!!) less LAND WAPS-it's the same damn thing Netenyahu proposed to Congress-- look at the freaking transcripts! (TPP won't) IT IS. I keep trying to say moderation is what will help the TPP movement and am looked at as an outcast- if you want a national voice, you have to acquiesce to the moderate fringe. HELLO?!
