Agenda 21: “World to Local.” This is about the United Nations (UN) redistributing wealth globally. The United States is a wealthy country, so we are being TOLD we must give up our wealth to help poorer countries by lowering our standard of living via a world tax. Our strict environmental laws are greatly contributing to the excessive high rate of production of all things and thus deeply hurting our economy. In so doing this, we are forced to give up our individual standard of living to bring us down toward the level of other nations. This is not individuals voluntarily giving aid to help poor countries to dig wells for clean water, build schools, or have better local healthcare; it is about FORCING us to be part of this world plan by taxing us to support someone else. (redistribution of wealth) In other words, we are being told we must be part of a world order, one that makes our country weaker, states with less sovereignty, and counties and cities with far less control at the local level.
IN 1992, 178 nations adopted the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Agenda 21 and pledged to evaluate its progress every five years. Former President George H. W. Bush was signatory for the United States. Congress never authorized the implementation of this agenda. It needed no ratification. President Bill Clinton, by Executive Order 12852, created the President’s Council on Sustainable Development for the purpose of following through with Agenda 21 in the US.
Unelected Boards and Commissions (non governmental organizations or NGO’s) have and are being established around the country and are supported by our taxes. Local governments are being told by these groups that they have to follow the will of the commissions in order to get any funding because this is the law. The people do not realize these groups have no lawful power to dictate to us but if local governments do not follow their rules, they can withhold much needed funds. They were never approved by Congress. Our local governments are being manipulated. We have no equal justice but it is social justice instead.
As both the right and left are finding their property rights and freedoms violated, people are stepping up to try to stop this. While large corporations, large labor unions, and big development are being granted special exceptions to the rules the rest of us have to abide by, they are getting the funding to be “sustainable” from taxes all of us pay. In other words, if they do the bidding of the shadow government’s Agenda 21’s control, they get special financial breaks. This is one reason communities are building more and more “affordable low income housing” and stacking living spaces on top of businesses. People are being forced to live along public transportation routes in crowded areas. Environmentalists and the UN are telling us our comfortable homes are not sustainable because they are too large, use too much energy even with energy rated appliances, and take up too much land space. They say we are using too much fuel for personal transportation even with cars getting better mileage and some going electric and others converting to natural gas.
Many farmers in California are being told they cannot have water to irrigate their crops and orchards have been left to die. This of course, raises food prices and puts these hard working families into a huge loss financially. Cattle ranchers have been told by the federal government they cannot use their Klamath River water allotments because of the salmon runs. These water rights came with the land 100-150 years ago. The goal is to have these agricultural lands go bankrupt and their properties revert to federal government control, hence more federal authority of these lands.
One example, in Chico, CA, of government control of public park lands is, about ten years ago, the Chico City Council voted to spend $50 million dollars for an expansion to our renowned Bidwell Park. To this day, no one is allowed to enter this area and it has been fenced off. They were offered about $30 million dollars by a developer to purchase a quarter of this piece of land for high end homes on large lots. Four of seven council members turned this down and the citizens have been paying for it ever since with no input or access. Another example is a piece of land in a commercially zoned area that was purchased for low income housing with no future taxable income to the city. By rezoning this large commercial property to mixed use, they were able to build concentrated living space for low income residents and destroy all future chance of revenue building and infusion of capital in this area.
